Bra sizes explained

Unfortunately, bra sizes do not come in small, medium and large.  If only it were that easy! Just like men's pants, there are two very important numbers. Instead of waist and inseam, you have torso circumference (not bust size circumference) and cup size.  Just to add to the fun, they are different depending on what country you are in. Let's sort it out . . .

First of all, find a time when you can sneek a peek at her bra tag so you have something to go on . . . preferably not while she is wearing it. See if you can find one hung up on a hook, or even one in the undies drawer. Try to be discreet!  The tag will be sewn inside the bra. It could look like any of these:

How to read the tag:

1. The letter is the cup size… A, B, C, D, DD, E, F etc
2. The number or numbers are the torso circumference measurement or general size of the woman
3. The torso circumference is measured in either centimetres or inches depending on the country where it is made or sold.
   1. Centimetres start from 60 upwards
   2. Inches start from 30 upwards
4. If general size number is shown, it will be your typical 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 etc
